Bonefish Trek Fly
There has been much debate over the ideal length for a bonefish fly rod. After extensive research and testing we have come to the conclusion that a 9’ model is the best compromise as an all round rod whether you are fishing from a flat skiff or wading the shoreline. We recommend that you team our Bonefish Trek Fly with a 9 weight line to not only achieve long, smooth and accurate casts but also to give the best presentation. This single handed rod can easily punch out a very long line when required into a stiff headwind. The fast pickup allows you to quickly change direction when pods of bonefish are moving through quickly. Once you have hooked your quarry this rod is a delight to play fish on. It has a very progressive action that just continues to build up leaving you with the confidence that you are never going to run out of power. If you have to put on the brakes to stop a big bone diving in dense mangroves you now have the power to do so.
The Bonefish Trek Fly is furnished with an A-grade top quality cork handle, double locking rings, secure reel fitting and top quality guides throughout including two Titanium Stripping Rings and Stainless Steel Intermediates . Constructed from 5 sections the Bonefish Trek Fly has a transportation length of 25.5 inches. It comes presented in a smart zipped hard case travel tube for ultimate protection and ease of carriage.
